Through quantitative and qualitative methodologies ICC/Decision Services drives all levels of organizations to measure, manage and improve the customer experience. Clients include Coach, Foot Locker, Talbots, Express, Walmart, CVS, New York & Company, Michaels, Boy Scouts of America, Meijer, Kohl's, and Rite Aid.

 

 

Summary:

 

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, and some graphic design and site management skills. The content manager will be responsible developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Writes and posts content online and through social media at regular intervals
  • Assures website is current
  • Analyzes visitor data and recommends ways to improve conversion
  • Develops a content plan that addresses what content gets posted when, and where
  • Contributes to/updates the company’s social sites like Facebook and Twitter
  • Works with developers/IT staff to assess any technical challenges (troubleshooting) in displaying the content.
  • Helps develop & document procedures to manage Web content
  • Moderates content as it is contributed to the website by external sources
  • Monitors social media outlets and responds on topics related to company/industry
  • Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends
  • Coordinates content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external)
  • Prepares internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, technical documentation, sales support, etc. as needed


Job Requirements:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research
  • Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
  • At least 2 years of experience with proven web writing and editing skills, including product descriptions and promotional copy
  • Knowledge of web usability standards and practices
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative work environment

Salary/Benefits:

  • Salary Range for Full Time Employment is 40-65K- depending on experience
  • This position will start as a temporary (3 month trial) position with potential for full time employment
